Jazz or Traditional, you take your pick. Between services there is a social time and adult education, as well as Sunday School and child care. Adult Education varies week to week and includes Bible study, outside leaders, topical discussion, or current issues. Alternately, bring your newspaper, grab a cup of coffee and enjoy the morning.

Yes, we’ve got young adults at Salem, active in literally every aspect of the congregation’s life. That said, there is also a young adult group. Click here for details.
Salem English Lutheran Church began in 1890 as one of the first English speaking congregations of its kind west of Chicago to worship in the language of the new neighborhood. So many years later, Salem still seeks to speak an authentic language of the gospel in our neighborhood.
